Google will shut down its Gtalk app today (16th Feb), and force users to switch to its Google Hangout. Whether you like it or not, Gtalk will not function from today onwards and you forcefully have to shift to Hangout.
Few weeks back, Google had already announced that it will shut downs Gtalk from February 16th and today is the final day for Gtalk. So, say Gtalk goodbye and embrace Hangouts.
This effort, by Google, is made to compete with much popular messengers like WhatsApp, Hike, WeChat, Line and others. As we know, Hangouts is not as popular as the other messengers, but, the search engine giant, Google sees it to compete with them in future.
