The Xiaomi Redmi 2 launched in India today, at low price of Rs 6999.
The Redmi 2, which is also known as Hongmi 2 in China, is a powerfull market maker to last year’s Redmi 1s, and boasts a 4.7 inch 720p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory with a microSD card slot, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front facing camera, dual-4G-SIM, Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v6, and a 2200 mAh battery.Hope Redmi 2 will come it latest lollipop version in future.
Xiaomi will be selling the Redmi 2 exclusively on Flipkart.com, as always, in their usual flash-sale style. Registration for their flash sale opens today at 6pm IST on Flipkart, but the actual sale will happen on March 24th. The only bad thing is it is available in only two colors white and grey colors good news for those who like these colors.
