In case you haven't noticed, it's 2015 — and while much of the tech promised by Back to the Future II has yet to materialize, one company's new piece of gadgetry would make Marty McFly jealous.
If he had an iPhone, that is.
A Japanese toy company has created an iPhone 6 case that looks to be a near perfect replica of the iconic DeLorean from the 1989 film. The iPhone 6 case, which costs 5,940 yen (just under $50), not only looks like a mini version of the flying car — it has its own special tricks.

A slot over the car's hood pulls out to reveal the iPhone's rear-facing camera, while its side panels lift up for access to the volume controls and the sleep/wake switch.

The built-in LED headlights strobe with incoming phone calls; you can activate the headlights via the iPhone's built-in flashlight app as well.
Bandai, the Japanese manufacturer, says the cases won't be available until June of this year (you can pre-order them now).
It may not be the most practical iPhone case ever, and looks significantly clunkier than most. Obscuring the camera flash is far from ideal for photographers.
Still, even in the future, not everything is perfect — as Marty McFly taught us.
