Motorola Launches Moto E 2nd Gen with Bigger Screen and Android Lollipop

Yesterday Motorola finally announced the Moto E 2nd Gen, so Motorola fans cheer up! We already had the specs list of the Moto E 2nd Gen but it wasn't official until yesterday. This phone would be another addition to the budget smartphones. Motorola introduced two variant of the Moto E 2nd Gen i.e Moto E (Gen 2 ) & Moto E (Gen 2) LTE. The 3G variant is priced at $119.99 (Rs 7,400 approx) and the LTE variant is priced at $149.99 (Rs 9,200 approx).

Coming to the specs, this new generation of Moto E sports 4.5-inch qHD Screen which has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The Screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has anti smudge coating. The non-LTE variant is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 200 processor and Adreno 302 with 400 MHz GPU, while the LTE variant is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor and Adreno 306 with 400 MHz GPU. Both the variant are packed with 1 GB of Ram and 8 GB of Internal Storage which is expandable to upto 32 GB  via microSD card. 

Both the variant has got 5 MP Rear Camera and 0.3 MP Front Camera, which could be better, looking at the competition. It runs on a 2390 mAh battery which will give 24 Hours of battery life on mixed up usage and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. 

Besides these features, the new Moto E comes with some features which are found on Moto X such as Quick Capture, Active Display, more. 
Unlike Moto E, users can now personalize their phone with the new interchangeable, colorful and grip bands, which increase the looks and grip of the phones. This band comes in six different colors: Golden Yellow, Turquoise, Blue, Raspberry, Purple and Red and back panels are available in Golden Yellow, Charcoal, Turquoise, Blue and Raspberry color.
