Contrary to common speculation, Sony is by no means done with tablets. In fact, the company announced the Xperia Z4 tablet here at Mobile World Congress, and it’s easily one of the best Android tablets to have ever hit the market. The QHD display paired with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip should already be impressive enough in its own right, but the truly amazing part about this tablet is its size and weight. Sony has trimmed down the amount of bezel surrounding the sharp and vibrant 10-inch IPS LCD panel and instituted a hardcore slimming regime – the Z2 Tablet looks downright chunky next to this featherweight of a tablet.While I still do not think the Android ecosystem offers much value for the 10-inch form factor, it’s a healthy sign that high-end Android tablets are still being designed, manufactured and iterated upon. After all, we definitely do not want the only high-end Android tablet to be the Nexus 9.
