You Can Set Android Layout Preference For Left Hand Users

Android being so large, that more than 70% of the devices run on Android. Don't you think that Android should offer some layout option for left hand users. Wola! Yes it does. You can change the Android layout preference to left-right, think you don't know how. Don't worry here you'll learn how it's done.

To change the layout left-right there are mainly two steps to follow.

Enable Developer Mode In Your Phone

  • To do this, head over to Settings > About Built Number
  • Or  in some cases Settings > About Software Information > Built Number

Android+Software+InformationAndroid+Built+Number
Once you find the Built Number, start tapping it and tap for 7 times. After taping it for 7 times a popup message will appear saying "You are a developer now". I already have enabled the developer mode so it says "No need, You are already a developer".

Enable Force RTL Layout  Direction

Now as the developer mode is enabled, you have to find the Developer option, and you'll find that in Settings. Now just enter the developer option and scroll down until you find the Force RTL Layout Direction. Then just enable Force RTL Layout Direction and you'll see the layout changes to left-right fashion.

You can see how the layout changes from right to left, and believe me using this layout is damn hard. Though some left hander might like it, as it is meant for them, it is very confusing to use this new fresh Android layout.

So, that's it. I know most of you out there didn't knew this trick (But now you know!). Try this trick right now and see how confusing it is to use your Android in a new way. And all left hand users, I know you wanna thank me (just kidding), share your thought in comments, I would love to hear from you.
